Update: RowBux

Seems like the site is going under. After the last prolong downtime, advertisers are shunning the site. This is a message from the admin.

2009-12-22 Did you read the front page?

UPDATE: It is time for us (RowBux) to make a decision as to how we are going to move forward. We have currently paid all payout requests as of today (22 Dec 09). We have not missed a single payment to date.

So all is not especially bad.

But, we have turned "OFF" the payout button for standard (free) members.

What this means is: Standard members will only be able to convert earnings to advertising for right now. And until RowBux is able to create a positive solution to the loss in advertising revenue that once flowed, we have no other choices.

Standard members can make the choice for themselves as what they wish to do. If Standard members elect to use their earnings to purchase advertising, then they may just find an equitable situation as there are more than 20,000 members in RowBux waiting for ads to view. This could be a great time to advertise your products.

Standard members can decide to wait out this slow spell as we continue to try and bring RowBux back to the top of the charts. If we are productive, then we may be able to get over these obstacles and reopen the payout button for Standard members.

But, if we are not, then RowBux may face closing (like so many other PTC sites). Or having to consider options to sell.

Take these comment for what they are. Please know that we are not a scam, just an online business trying to compete in a world of scams.

Everyone is welcome to email us or post comments on our forum about your concerns. But at this time, we are limited in what we can do to bring advertisers to our doors.
